How to edit your company message
Company Messages
On the portal, you have the ability to create multiple messages to show up across the site. These messages can be tailored to specific people or can be addressed to the entire portal. This feature is only available to HR Admins and Bureau users.
When you are importing users, it checks for any messages that should go to everyone and adds them to the list of recipients. The following screen will document all relevant information related to the messages sent throughout the portal. Listed is the content, recipients of the messages, how many people have read the message as well as whether the message is mandatory or permanent or neither.

Creating a New Message
In order to create a new message, you will need to click on the green button in the top right corner, this will direct you the next screen. This screen contains all the tools needed to create a message and the ability to tailor it to specific people.

The main piece of this page is the content box, it contains the necessary elements to set up a message, choosing the right font, the font formatting, using ordered or unordered lists, as well as the ability to insert images into the message.
Underneath this box you can select whether the message will be mandatory, meaning it must be read and will be displayed on every page or, permanent, which means it is always displayed on every page and cannot be marked as read by anyone. Alternatively you can choose neither of these options.
Next you can determine if this message has a timeout date, which basically puts in a deadline for the message and it will be removed on the day.
Now you choose the recipients. This is where you can choose between 3 options.
Everyone: This will select everyone on the portal, and mark them as eligible for the message.
Selected Teams: This will allow you to select certain teams to receive the message.
Selected Users: This will allow you to select only certain users of the portal to receive the message.
Beneath this is the full list of employees who use the portal, which allows you to select the teams and or users that you wish to send the message to.
Message Maintenance
With the messages, when you have read them, you can select 'Mark as Read', this will update an additional checklist under the original message, for admins and bureau users, which will show you who has and hasn't seen the message.
